Streak-free.

No film, no haze, no streaks. Just clear glass — even on the second pass with a paper towel.

Ammonia-free.

No headache, no chemical bite, no need to open the window. Safe on tinted glass.

Plant-based.

Naturally derived solvents do the work ammonia used to. Cleaner formula, cleaner finish.

Refillable.

16 oz concentrate refill makes 10 bottles. Same bottle, many lifetimes, less plastic.

The Scent — Cedar + Bourbon

Aged oak. Warm spice. A room worth remembering.

A cleaning product isn't supposed to smell like this. That's the point.

Top Notes
Black pepper, citrus peel, dry birch
Heart
Aged cedar, bourbon vanilla, oak
Base
Smoked tonka, leather, dry amber
The Specifics

What it does. What it doesn't.

Two short lists. Read them, decide for yourself.

+ What it does

  • Cleans glass, mirrors, picture frames, glass tables, and shower doors
  • Leaves no streaks, no film, no haze
  • Safe on tinted automotive and residential glass
  • Cuts fingerprints, water spots, and light grease without rubbing
  • Smells like somewhere you'd want to be
  • Refills from a concentrate, not another bottle

What it doesn't

  • Contain ammonia, phthalates, or parabens
  • Contain dyes, brighteners, or optical whiteners
  • Smell like a chemistry lab or sting your eyes
  • Need an aerosol propellant — the spray is mechanical
  • Streak when you wipe with the wrong cloth
  • Smell like blue raspberry. Or anything blue, really.
The Formula

Six ingredients. Nothing hiding.

Every component, what it does, why it's in there.

01 · Solvent

Isopropyl Alcohol

The streak-free workhorse. Evaporates fast, leaves no residue, cleans where water can't. Naturally derived, plant-fermented grade.

02 · Surfactant

Decyl Glucoside

Just enough plant-based surfactant to lift grease without leaving film. The lightest hand in the cleaning library.

03 · Wetting Agent

Polysorbate-20

Lets the spray spread evenly across glass instead of beading up into spots. Plant-derived. Used at <0.5%.

04 · Preservative

Benzisothiazolinone (<0.05%)

Used at trace levels to keep the formula stable for 24+ months. Disclosed in full, not buried.

05 · Scent

Custom Fragrance Blend

Essential oils plus IFRA-compliant fragrance oils. Lighter loading than the Kitchen formula — glass cleaners don't need to be perfumed, just pleasant.

06 · Base

Purified Water

Filtered and deionized so it doesn't leave mineral spots when it dries. ~80% of the bottle.

Theory vs. The Cleaning Aisle

Why we built this in the first place.

The cleaning aisle hasn't moved in twenty years. Here's the gap.

How It Works

Three steps. No surprises.

Pump and spray. No propellant. No mixing. No mess.

01

Spray

Hold 8–10 inches from the glass. Two or three pulls of the trigger covers a full-size window pane.

02

Wipe

Microfiber for the best finish. Paper towel works fine on smaller surfaces. Wipe in one direction.

03

Refill

Pour ~1.6 oz from the 16 oz Refill Concentrate into the empty bottle, fill with water, done. Ten refills per concentrate. Less plastic, less shipping.

Better than Windex. Smells better than Windex.

Switched my entire glass collection — mirrors, windows, the glass shower door — to this. Same streak-free finish. None of the eye-watering ammonia smell. My nose appreciates the change.

Finally, a glass cleaner I leave on the counter.

Old Windex bottle lived under the sink because it was ugly. This one sits next to the soap. Cedar + Bourbon scent is wild on a glass cleaner, but it works.

Works on the inside of my car windshield too.

No ammonia means it's safe on the tint. Clears fog from the AC, fingerprints from the dashboard, kid smudges on the back window. Game changer.

Subscription pays for itself.

20% off plus the 16oz refill concentrate at $23.95 makes 10 bottles. Works out to about $2.40 per bottle of finished glass cleaner. And it smells like a barbershop. I don't know how that works but I'll take it.

Questions

Frequently asked.

If we missed yours, just ask.

Not if you use a clean microfiber cloth and wipe in one direction. The isopropyl alcohol base evaporates faster than the water, which is what causes streaking in cheaper formulas. If you're getting streaks, it's almost always the cloth, not the cleaner.
Yes. Theory Glass Cleaner is ammonia-free, which is the ingredient that degrades window tint. Safe on residential tinted windows, automotive tint, and tinted electronics screens — though we recommend a barely-damp microfiber for screens, not direct spray.
Yes for daily glass cleaning. For built-up soap scum and hard water, use the No. 03 Bathroom Cleaner first to break the scum, then come back with the Glass Cleaner for the streak-free finish.
Multi-Surface is built for general grime — dust, fingerprints, light grease. Glass Cleaner has more solvent and less surfactant, which is what makes it streak-free on glass. Multi-Surface will work on glass in a pinch but won't be quite as crisp.
Roughly 450 sprays. For a household with ~6 windows, a few mirrors, and a glass shower door, cleaned weekly, that's about 10–12 weeks per bottle.
30 days, full refund, no questions. If the scent isn't for you, keep the bottle. We'd rather build a customer than win an argument.
